Unlike mass-production factories, there is zero division of labor here. A single, highly skilled "Pro Builder"—handpicked and approved by Goto himself—is solely responsible for every single step of a product's creation, from leather cutting and sewing to finishing and packaging. 

Moreover, our builders are also the designers. Because the people who understand the leather intimately are the ones designing the products, we achieve a flawless fusion of aesthetic beauty and rugged functionality.

2. 40-Year-Old Vintage Sewing Machines & Secret Techniques

There are no manuals or training curriculums in our workshop. Skills are passed down strictly from master to apprentice through oral tradition and visual stealing—a method inspired by Goto's own journey in Arizona, where he learned leathercraft by watching Native American artisans day after day.

• The Cut: Instead of box cutters, we use a traditional tool called a "Kawakiri" (leather cutter) to "crush-cut" the leather. This unique method prevents delamination (the leather splitting apart at the edges) over years of usage.

• The Stitch: Artisans use 40-year-old vintage pedal-operated sewing machines. This allows them to physically feel the strength variations in the leather, applying the perfect minimum torque to avoid tearing. We never use glue to bond the leather layers; leaving them free to shift slightly absorbs external stress, ensuring the wallet outlasts generations.

3. A Commitment to Lifetime Repair

Many brands end their relationship with you at the cash register. REDMOON does not. Repairing a heavily worn, reshaped wallet by disassembling it and carefully guiding a needle through the exact same original stitch holes requires far more skill and patience than making a new wallet from scratch.
